As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a small team to develop next-generation tools for fleets.
You will be responsible for building end-to-end features, including backend code, APIs, and frontend UI.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, as well as customers.
You will maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure for critical product flows and ensure observability for features developed by your team.
You will influence the technical direction for both backend and frontend applications and help shape the engineering team culture and best practices.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of experience in backend system development with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and unit testing frameworks is required.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, along with empathy for customers and colleagues, are essential.
You should possess strong design intuition and the ability to tackle ambiguous engineering challenges.
Experience with browser automation tools like Selenium or Playwright is necessary.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems is required.
An interest or experience in AI and machine learning is preferred.
You should be curious, excel at uncovering complex customer pain points, and thrive in ambiguous situations.
