The position is for a Senior Software Engineer focusing on front-end development for The Machine project.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive web applications using React and Next.js, optimizing applications for speed and SEO, implementing server-side rendering and static site generation, collaborating with designers and back-end developers, writing clean and maintainable code, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, and staying updated with industry trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong experience in React, including hooks, context API, and state management.
Strong experience in Next.js, including SSR, SSG, API routes, and middleware is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including Sass and CSS-in-JS) is necessary.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand is required.
Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite is essential.
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is needed.
Understanding of performance optimization techniques is required.
Experience with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab is necessary.
Bonus experience includes familiarity with headless CMS, knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js and Express, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or AWS.
