Calabrio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Contact Center Application Development Teams.
The role involves building and owning applications across the full tech stack, including telephony, cloud-scale APIs, and user interfaces.
Responsibilities include building scalable front-end applications using React, developing backend services with object-oriented languages, and collaborating on cloud-native designs.
The engineer will lead issue resolution, participate in system design discussions, and support cross-team initiatives.
The position emphasizes reinforcing engineering best practices through code reviews and solution design.
Requirements:
Candidates should have familiarity with AWS cloud services; AWS Developer certification is a strong plus.
A demonstrated knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, including security, coding standards, and CI/CD, is required.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and collaborative development workflows is necessary.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or the EFK/ELK stack is preferred.
Strong communication skills and experience working within distributed, cross-functional teams are essential.
A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant practical software development experience, expertise in at least one modern object-oriented language, and proficiency with React and modern front-end development practices.
