Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud platform development, including 4+ years of DBA experience in cloud environments.
  • Expertise in AWS Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL administration is required, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and backup strategies.
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure, serverless and containerized solutions (Kubernetes, ECS), and orchestration frameworks is necessary.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python are essential, along with experience using CloudFormation/CDK and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience integrating infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycle is required.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills are necessary, with the ability to create clear diagrams and explanations for complex topics.
  • A collaborative mindset, adaptability, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and readiness to respond to production incidents are essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
