Remote Senior Software Engineer - DevOps Integrations (Ansible, Vault, Terraform)

Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our Keeper Integrations team.
• This position requires a collaborative spirit, strong full stack development expertise, and excellent communication skills to help deliver world-class integrations.
• This is a 100% remote position, with the option for a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA, or Chicago, IL metro areas.
• The role involves leading the integration ecosystem for Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) by designing, developing, and maintaining deep integrations with automation, DevOps, and orchestration platforms such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• The work will enable Keeper customers to secure credentials and secrets across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and IT automation workflows.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python, Go, and/or Node.js.
• A proven track record in building production-grade integrations or plugins for automation/orchestration platforms is required.
• Strong understanding of API security, secret management, and secure coding practices is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and building containerized runtimes is necessary.
• Experience in building Ansible Collections, modules, action plugins, Execution Environments, and Custom Credential Types for Automation Platform/Tower is required, along with familiarity in Automation Hub certification.
• Candidates should have developed Vault plugins in Go and managed the plugin lifecycle.
• Experience in shipping Terraform providers using the Plugin Framework, including CRUD logic and acceptance tests, is required.
• The ability to design and implement automated test pipelines for integrations is necessary.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration are essential.
