Remote Senior Software Engineer - Exploration Team

Description:

• The company is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join the Exploration team, which focuses on creating new products to help parents secure their children's futures, starting with an investment account for minors (UGMA).
• The role involves developing full-stack features using TypeScript and React, and running services in both NestJS and a serverless AWS environment.
• The engineer will participate in the design and implementation of features to expand Fabric’s UGMA offering, working in two-week sprints.
• Collaboration with other engineers is essential to provide technical leadership to a growing startup with ambitious goals.
• The engineer will also help fellow engineers grow in new and exciting ways.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience in a product-centric environment.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a JavaScript or TypeScript environment is required.
• Experience in building backend APIs and responsive front-ends is necessary.
• Effective communication skills are essential for technical problem-solving and collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Candidates should demonstrate compassion for both Fabric’s customers and their fellow teammates.
• A willingness to make mistakes and learn from them is expected.
• Enthusiasm for engineering and technology is a must.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $180,000.
