• The Fluency Engineering Team is composed of detail-oriented, highly skilled engineers focused on building scalable solutions in digital advertising.
• The team utilizes a native AWS architecture with technologies such as RDS/MySQL, Java, Spring Boot, Elastic Beanstalk, JavaScript, Vue.js, and S3.
• The Senior Software Engineer will specialize in Facebook Marketing API integration, leading the development, management, and optimization of the connection to the Facebook Marketing API.
• This role is essential for ensuring seamless data flow, maintaining data integrity, and enabling advanced advertising functionality within the platform.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with the Facebook Marketing API.
• The position is full-time and remote, with an option to work in the Burlington, VT office.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of direct experience working with the Facebook Marketing API, including its implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design is required.
• An advanced understanding of data processing, transformation, and integration, including JSON, XML, and data mapping, is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly S3, RDS, and Athena, is essential.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex API issues, including rate limiting, error handling, and data discrepancies, is required.
• Experience in the digital advertising ecosystem, focusing on marketing data pipelines and campaign management, is important.
• Exceptional communication skills are needed to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
