Responsibilities include building impactful features that provide cloud cost insights, driving product development from idea to implementation, architecting for efficiency in cloud architecture, scaling the FinOps platform, and championing a FinOps culture within the organization.
You will design and develop functionality for automated cost anomaly detection and support product teams with real-time cost-related answers.
The Cloud FinOps team focuses on promoting a cost-aware culture and maximizing the value of cloud spending.
Requirements:
Proficiency in coding with Golang or Python, with a willingness to learn the other language.
Strong foundational knowledge of computer engineering principles.
Extensive experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, including EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
Experience in designing scalable, secure, and cost-conscious cloud architecture.
Fluency in infrastructure-as-code, preferably with Terraform.
Ability to take ownership of goals, track progress, and deliver outcomes independently or as part of a team.
Skills in mentoring and improving collaboration within the team.
A curious and collaborative mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and connecting short-term actions to long-term goals.
