Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description:

• Imagen’s mission is to ensure that every patient receives the right diagnosis at the right time.
• The company operates at the primary care provider (PCP) office, equipping clinics with in-house staff and equipment, as well as specialists powered by industry-leading AI.
• Imagen’s platform includes six FDA-cleared AI devices capable of automatically detecting over 120 pathologies.
• The company is rapidly expanding its platform across the U.S., aiming to serve 1.5 million patients in 2024 and over 5 million patients annually by 2026.
• Imagen is a remote-first organization with a team of over 100 business professionals and more than 80 clinical staff members.
• The company is looking for a full-stack software engineer to join a small, high-impact team that builds software to support clinical operations teams and radiologists.
• The role will focus on improving the routing of studies, integrating with Imagen’s AI devices, and building operational tooling to support hundreds of radiologists.
• This position reports to the manager of the Care Delivery Tools team.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be mission-driven and passionate about improving healthcare outcomes.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience is required, ideally with full-stack software engineering experience.
• High proficiency with at least one of the programming languages used, specifically JavaScript (React) or Python, is necessary.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation is required.
• Familiarity with modern developer productivity tooling, notably AI tools or coding agents, is essential.
• Candidates should have familiarity with Cloud services, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Attention to detail and execution-oriented skills are important, along with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• A BS in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience, is required.

Benefits:

• The base salary for the position ranges from $145,000 to $170,000, plus equity and benefits.
