Remote Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) (Remote)

Description:

• Counsel is on a mission to multiply the world's healthcare capacity by building the first fully-vertical, AI-native medical group.

• The Senior Software Engineer will have significant responsibility and ownership over the product and will work cross-functionally with product, clinical, and commercial teams.
• The role can be remote but will be hybrid for those located in NY/Boston or willing to move to the in-person office.
• The engineering work includes full-stack web development, data infrastructure, mobile development, and AI/MLOps.
• Responsibilities include leading initiatives with Product and Design teams, working with the ML research team, scaling backend infrastructure, improving the physician-facing care platform, and building robust integrations with large enterprise clients.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of building production software experience, ideally with 2+ years at startups or growth companies.
• Proficiency in the tech stack is required: React, NextJs, Node.js (Typescript), React Native, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and Redis.
• Experience in building at scale, serving hundreds of thousands of end-users and large enterprise clients is necessary.
• Candidates should be opinionated about up-leveling their own engineering skills and the team around them.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and recent AI developments is essential.
