The Customer Service Management (CSM) Workspace is developing an application that enables customers to provide service and support for their external customers through various communication channels such as web, email, chat, telephone, and social media.
The role is for a Full Stack Engineer with good experience in JavaScript and server-side JavaScript technologies to join the application engineering team.
Responsibilities include building high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable UI code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes, such as code reviews and unit testing.
The engineer will work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and will own their code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users.
The role involves designing software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs.
The engineer will contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
Mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing is also a key aspect of this role.
The focus will be on creating highly reusable and modular UI/UX frontend components and patterns to accelerate other development teams and customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess strong design, collaboration, and communication skills to work cross-team around the organization.
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development with JavaScript or ServiceNow platform development is necessary.
A solid understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization is essential.
Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is required.
A passion for JavaScript, the Web as a platform, and building reusable, component-driven architectures is expected.
Candidates should have experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, including a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing the screening, and only US citizens, US naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents will be considered.
Benefits:
The position offers a base pay range of $140,700 - $239,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
