Remote Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

• The Senior Fullstack Engineer will develop both the user-facing frontend and backend systems of the Foodsmart platform.
• Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable web applications, creating efficient APIs, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• The role involves collaboration with UX/UI designers, product teams, and both frontend and backend teams.
• The engineer will also define development practices, debug issues, and optimize system performance and security.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and proposing their application in development is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-stack development, particularly with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3, SNS, and EC2 is required.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure is necessary.
• Experience with low-code platforms like Retool is a plus.
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Strong skills in modern frontend engineering practices, accessibility, and responsive design are essential.
• The candidate should be a collaborative team player with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
