The Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack role is remote and available only to candidates in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities include developing new features based on product specifications while optimizing for scalability and performance.
The engineer will engage in the scrum process, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
The role requires understanding technical requirements and collaborating with design and product teams to meet expectations.
The engineer will fix live bugs, triage issues, and ensure root causes are identified for long-term solutions.
Quality validation of work through manual and automated testing is expected, with engineers owning their code throughout the development lifecycle.
The position also involves coaching and mentoring junior engineers on new technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Familiarity with the primary tech stacks is desired: one in React (Next.js) with an Apollo/GraphQL API layer, and another in PHP (WordPress) with a REST API layer.
Experience with MySQL, ElasticSearch, and DynamoDB on the backend is preferred, but not required.
All systems are hosted on AWS.

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD, with total compensation varying based on education, experience, skills, and location.
