Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go/PHP) for a remote position in Germany.
This role is ideal for an experienced backend developer eager to shape the financial core of a fast-scaling ERP system.
The successful candidate will join a motivated, cross-functional team to build and optimize backend services for General Ledger features using Go and PHP.
Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable backend services, enhancing data-driven features for financial operations, and creating robust APIs for a modular ERP ecosystem.
The engineer will contribute to the evolution of architecture from a monolith to service-based systems and apply best practices in system design, CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of backend development experience using Go and PHP.
A strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) is necessary.
Previous exposure to scalable architecture patterns and microservices is preferred.
A background in financial or ERP systems is highly desirable.
Effective communication skills, a proactive mindset, and mentoring experience are essential.
Fluency in English, along with a strong sense of ownership and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, is required.
