Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• HackerOne is a global leader in offensive security solutions, combining AI with a large community of security researchers to address security, privacy, and AI vulnerabilities.
• The Senior Software Engineer will join the Bug Bounty Product Line, working with other senior engineers, product managers, and designers to lead various projects and develop features for the HackerOne community and its clients.
• The role involves collaborating with a vibrant community of security researchers and hackers to create impactful products.
• The engineer will leverage broad technological expertise and deep domain knowledge to identify and improve technical weaknesses in codebases.
• The position requires hands-on experience with AI and LLMs, focusing on applying these technologies to enhance business functionality.
• HackerOne promotes a flexible work approach, allowing remote work while encouraging occasional in-person interactions for team collaboration.
• The first 30 days will focus on onboarding, learning the technology stack, and connecting with the team, with increasing involvement in projects by day 60.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of development experience in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with dynamically typed, OOP languages such as JavaScript, Objective-C, PHP, Python, or Ruby is required.
• Practical SQL experience of 5+ years, preferably with PostgreSQL, is necessary.
• Candidates should have practical experience with React JS or similar libraries.
• Experience leading technical projects through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle is essential.
• GenAI experience is required.
