  • The Senior Software Engineer I (Backend) will work as part of a cross-functional team, driving architectural decisions and building internal tooling from start to finish.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and engineering stakeholders, improving existing architectures, leading complex problem delivery, writing RFCs and technical proposals, taking ownership of feature delivery, writing secure software, reviewing code, mentoring other developers, and improving tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a strong technical background and significant experience in building production web applications.
  • Proficiency in writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL queries, specifically with PostgreSQL, is required.
  • Experience in designing and documenting RESTful APIs is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience in building high throughput services and internal APIs.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and code coverage strategies is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail are required.
