  • The Senior Software Engineer I, Infrastructure will evolve CI/CD platforms with a focus on infrastructure automation and security.
  • Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining core cloud infrastructure on GCP, managing container orchestration with Kubernetes, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • The engineer will lead multi-month infrastructure projects, collaborate with product engineering teams, and champion best practices for cloud security and system reliability.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, particularly in backend, infrastructure, or SRE.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD systems (e.g., BuildKite, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and their relation to infrastructure deployment is essential.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Go, Python, Bash) is required.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for building reliable and scalable systems are important.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are necessary for this role.
