Remote Senior Software Engineer I (L4)

• The engineer will work in a pod with 4-6 engineers, an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
• The position requires 1-2 days of hybrid work in the NYC office.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on full-stack experience building production web applications in an agile, startup environment.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go, or any backend languages is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and CSS is necessary, with bonus points for TypeScript and NextJS.
• Familiarity or willingness to work in a full stack capacity is expected.
• Candidates should have a passion for solving complex technical problems in both new and legacy codebases.
• A mindset of leaving the codebase better than how it was found is essential.
• Experience collaborating with team members of varying experience levels to design and implement technical projects is required.
• Candidates must be able to work and problem-solve independently.
