As a Senior Software Engineer II, the candidate will maintain, improve, and expand the web application and data pipelines.
The role requires engineers who understand that writing new code is not always the solution to a problem; they must create secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to complex challenges in the healthcare industry.
The company embraces strategies that minimize risk, focusing on observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases that incrementally build value.
Primary duties include developing and implementing scalable and performant solutions, partnering with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes, and mentoring junior engineers through thorough pull request reviews.
Requirements:
A BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 6+ years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets is necessary.
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for both short-term and long-term business value.
The role requires 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
