  • The Senior Software Engineer II, Core Data position is remote and requires leading large, strategic, and complex projects.
  • The role involves mentoring other engineers and designing scalable solutions.
  • Responsibilities include building and shipping product features end-to-end, writing clear design documentation, troubleshooting software bugs, and implementing back-end APIs in Node.js.
  • The candidate will work with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, Ember, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
  • The Core Data team focuses on delivering consistent and authoritative customer data to empower product teams and enhance customer insights.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.) is required.
  • Proficiency in writing REST/JSON APIs and software tests is necessary.
  • The ability to solve technical problems independently and a motivation for continuous learning are essential.
  • Preferred skills include experience with Node.js, modern ES6 or TypeScript, and Ember.js, as well as experience working on SaaS web applications.
  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
