Parachute Health is seeking a Senior Integrations Software Engineer to join their fast-growing, remote-first company.
The mission is to ensure that every patient receives the medical equipment they need in a timely manner, improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.
The company has developed a platform that is significantly faster than traditional methods, connecting hospitals, payors, and suppliers of life-saving products.
Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and implementation teams, developing and maintaining EMR and system integrations, creating internal tools for interface development, delivering quality code, engaging with external stakeholders, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to full-stack teams.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment, with some experience in interface development (HL7 2.x, FHIR) using integration engines like NextGen Connect, Cloverleaf, or Ensemble.
Proficiency in a major scripting or object-oriented programming language such as Ruby or Python.
A desire to engage in various aspects of integration, including core platform integration, internal tooling, system monitoring, and product feature development.
Nice to have: Experience with Ruby on Rails, familiarity with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS), experience working with UX/UI design and product management, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Ember), and must reside in the U.S.

Base salary ranges from $165K to $210K depending on the level of seniority.
