  • As a Senior Content Development Engineer, you will develop high-quality technical interview questions to update Karat’s technical content library for modern AI-enabled engineering workflows across various engineering roles.
  • You will uphold Karat’s interview content standards through peer reviews, mentorship, and feedback integration.
  • This position is based in Bangalore, India, with working hours predominantly in IST and required internal meetings aligning with U.S. timezones.
  • Responsibilities include producing complex interview content, partnering with Content Designers to develop new content formats, authoring new technical interview questions, mentoring junior engineers, and integrating feedback based on performance data.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of post-academic experience as a software engineer, with demonstrated programming ability in a common programming language is required.
  • Professional working experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or another agentic AI solution for software development is necessary.
  • Experience working remotely with global teams is essential.
  • Fluent and concise English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Experience operating independently with high output and strict deadlines is necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience conducting technical interviews, project, product, or program management experience, and experience in a high-growth, quick-change startup environment.
