The Senior iOS Engineer will report to the Senior Manager of Mobile Engineering and will design solutions that provide mobile teams with deep, actionable insights into user interactions without compromising performance or privacy.
Daily tasks may include using advanced techniques such as reverse engineering, disassembly, decompilation, and debugging to analyze iOS frameworks and third-party code.
The engineer will write cross-platform code in Rust for shared crates, handling tasks like stripping private information, networking, automated testing, and performance optimizations.
Collaboration with specialists in Go APIs and canvas-based TypeScript frontend will be essential to ensure low-performance overhead and high fidelity session replay.
The role involves anticipating and engineering support for evolving iOS technologies like SwiftUI, Live Activities, and RealityKit.
The engineer will innovate new feature ideas to enhance customer digital experiences and improve mobile team efficiency.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with iOS development and a strong understanding of systems-level concepts.
Experience in C, C++, Rust, or similar low-level languages is required.
A strong understanding of iOS internals, particularly in SwiftUI and UIKit rendering, is necessary.
Candidates should have an understanding of Swift compilation.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
