Remote Senior Software Engineer, KeeperChat (MAUI)

Description:

• Keeper is hiring a talented Senior Software Engineer to develop the KeeperChat product and work alongside the Engineering Team.
• This is a 100% remote position with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA area.
• The role involves designing and implementing new features, optimizing performance for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms, and collaborating with product teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Responsibilities include participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers to contribute to a high-quality development environment.
• The position requires designing and implementing new features for Keeper Chat using technologies such as .NET and Javascript/React.
• The engineer will optimize app performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience on iOS and Android devices, including those built with .NET MAUI.
• The role also involves staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software engineering, particularly in .NET development and mobile application frameworks.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a strong focus on front-end development.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience with React/Javascript and .NET development is required.
• Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining applications using Node.js.
• A strong understanding of software design patterns and principles is necessary, with the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, particularly in multi-platform environments, are essential.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams is required.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
• Preferred qualifications include a strong understanding of native Node.js modules and the ability to integrate or troubleshoot modules compiled from C/C++.
