  • The tech stack includes Kotlin, Java 15+, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and AWS.
  • The role involves developing user-facing Kontakt.io Apps, defining data models, establishing connectivity with third-party systems, building modular components, contributing to architectural decisions, writing documentation and performance tests, supporting CI/CD workflows, creating best practices, proposing upgrades for security and development, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications using modern technology stacks such as Java/Kotlin is required.
  • Strong experience with Kafka and microservice architecture is essential.
  • Knowledge of Spring frameworks is necessary.
  • The ability to follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, and source version control is expected.
  • Experience with development for and deployment to AWS is required.
  • Good communication skills in English are a must.
  • Big Data experience is considered a great asset.
