Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining Pulumi SDKs, leading projects, determining roadmaps, providing test coverage, engaging with the community, and contributing to core cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
Strong experience in designing APIs, SDKs, or developer tools across multiple programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, Rust, Kotlin, Scala, Haskell, Ruby, F#, or Lisp is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Candidates must possess systematic problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and a solid understanding of software architecture principles.
A passion for community-building and empowering users and contributors is necessary.
A solid understanding of compilers, graph algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems is required.
Experience in developing and running services on platforms like Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is needed.
Familiarity with deployment orchestration and infrastructure-as-code tools is expected.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $166,250 - $206,150 USD.
