The Senior Software Engineer will build core technology to scale insurance policies and enhance the effectiveness of insurance underwriters using machine learning.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Product, Design, and other Engineers to develop customer-friendly experiences, architecting and implementing insurance infrastructure, and contributing to the hiring process and engineering culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong academic background, preferably with a Computer Engineering degree or equivalent.
A minimum of two years of experience in building complex systems as part of a team is required.
Familiarity with components of the Anzen stack, including TypeScript, React, Postgres, Redis, and AWS, is necessary.
Candidates should be excited to take on new projects and provide fresh perspectives on existing implementations.
Ideal candidates will have experience in building software with strict quality and uptime requirements, such as financial systems.
Experience or interest in training or fine-tuning Machine Learning models is preferred.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $150,000 a month.
