Remote Senior Software Engineer, Motion Planning

Description:

Requirements:

• Motion planning experience is required, with a preference for experience in robotic arms or autonomous vehicles.
• Candidates should have backend experience, covering all aspects of driving a project to completion.
• A strong technical background is necessary, with at least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years working with robotic systems.
• Candidates should demonstrate growth and optimism, being excited by challenging robotics problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for explaining complex robotics concepts.
• A focus on user impact and practical solutions over technical idealism is required.
• Candidates should prioritize simplicity, reliability, and velocity in robotics applications and proactively seek improvements.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $220,000, depending on experience.
• Compensation packages will be tailored to seniority and skill level, with base salary being one part of the overall compensation.
