The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in developing the proprietary deep learning platform.
This position is located in the Bellevue, WA office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and 2 days remote (Thursday, Friday).
Responsibilities include leading technical design, architecture, and development of critical projects, analyzing system requirements, implementing back-end services using C# and Postgres, upgrading existing .NET applications, mentoring Junior Engineers, and developing automated testing and benchmarking routines.
Requirements:
A BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing back-end services in the .NET Framework is necessary.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience programming with an object-oriented language such as C# or Java/Scala.
A minimum of 4 years of experience designing and implementing RDBMS data models, with experience in Postgres, MSSQL, or Oracle is required.
Candidates should have the ability to own services end-to-end in the service life cycle, including planning, design, delegation, release, and testing.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.

Cognitiv offers a competitive salary range of $160,000-$200,000 base salary plus equity, with actual compensation based on various factors unique to each candidate.
