  • Cognitiv combines deterministic data and advanced processing techniques to continuously train algorithms that optimize clients’ key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in developing the proprietary deep learning platform.
  • This position is located in the Bellevue, WA office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and 2 days remote (Thursday, Friday).
  • Responsibilities include leading technical design, architecture, and development of critical projects, analyzing system requirements, implementing back-end services using C# and Postgres, upgrading existing .NET applications, mentoring Junior Engineers, and developing automated testing and benchmarking routines.

Requirements:

  • A BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing back-end services in the .NET Framework is necessary.
  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience programming with an object-oriented language such as C# or Java/Scala.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience designing and implementing RDBMS data models, with experience in Postgres, MSSQL, or Oracle is required.
  • Candidates should have the ability to own services end-to-end in the service life cycle, including planning, design, delegation, release, and testing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
  • Candidates must be accustomed to high expectations and thrive in high-intensity, high-reward environments.
