Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Software Engineer with strong PHP and React.js skills to join our team.
  • You will play a key role in developing a new subproduct within our client’s portfolio, which is a robust human capital management solution that streamlines HR processes, enhances employee engagement, and simplifies payroll.
  • This position is remote and available for candidates located in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.
  • You will lead backend development on a long-term project, improving payroll and HR experiences for thousands of users.
  • Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing features with PHP and React.js, driving performance, scalability, and reliability of a widely used payroll platform.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of commercial development experience with PHP and React.js.
  • Strong experience with MySQL and MongoDB is required.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and knowledge of cloud best practices is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture is essential.
  • You should have experience with Git, unit tests, and maintaining code quality.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, high-performance systems is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • An upper-intermediate+ English level is required.
  • You should demonstrate strong ownership, motivation, and accountability.
  • Desirable qualifications include hands-on experience with payroll or HR system development, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker), and experience collaborating in distributed teams with English-speaking stakeholders.
