Remote Senior Software Engineer - Platform & Resiliency

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will join the Platform & Resiliency team and focus on infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include configuring, maintaining, and improving systems running on Kubernetes in GCP, using Terraform.

• The engineer will also build and improve the product hosting platform.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in backend development, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• A strong sense of ownership is required, demonstrated through delivering production-grade systems with robust testing, monitoring, and documentation practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Go is preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable collaborating cross-functionally to design and deploy reliable, scalable systems.
• Experience in operating and optimizing infrastructure at scale, focusing on high availability and performance, is necessary.
• Familiarity with SRE principles, including incident response, observability, and reliability engineering, is expected.
• A willingness to engage in continuous learning is essential; candidates are not expected to know everything from the start.
• Enthusiasm for working in a small company with opportunities for ownership is desired.
