  • As a Senior Engineer on the Platform team, you will own and evolve the email, calendar, and contact APIs, processing over 10 million API calls daily.
  • Your role includes building new API features, maintaining high reliability, and developing the backend for the AI meeting bot, "Notetaker."
  • You will set the technical direction for the Platform team, influence design decisions, and lead high-visibility projects.
  • The position requires a balance of hands-on software development, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in backend development on high-impact projects is necessary.
  • You must be a solid backend engineer with an understanding of systems, high concurrency design patterns, and distributed system concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining applications, including both API and client-side implementations, is essential.
  • Experience developing and testing with Go and Python is required.
  • Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
  • Experience with modern databases and storage solutions is required.
  • Some experience with containers and related infrastructure, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is needed.
  • Some experience with Cloud Services, preferably AWS or GCP, is required.
  • You should be familiar with using AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or Copilot to enhance development and code quality.
