Remote Senior Software Engineer, Privileged Access Management (PAM)

Description:

• Keeper Security is hiring an experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive the development of their Privileged Access Management solution.
• This is a 100% remote position with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.
• The role involves shaping the future of enterprise security by building secure, scalable solutions that protect sensitive information for organizations globally.
• Responsibilities include writing and maintaining code across multiple languages such as JavaScript, Java, Go, Python, .NET, PowerShell, and Bash.
• The engineer will develop and test scripts for password rotation and other core PAM functionalities.
• Building integrations with third-party DevOps tools to extend the Keeper Secrets Manager platform is also a key responsibility.
• The role requires architecting and managing complex applications with multiple system dependencies and integrations.
• Providing enterprise-level support for Keeper SDKs, APIs, and third-party integrations is expected.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver scalable PAM solutions is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and/or AWS is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows system administration is required.
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and security principles is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• A team-oriented, results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills is required.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person due to Keeper’s FedRAMP authorization.
