Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker are a plus.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in software engineering is necessary.
  • Candidates must have expert-level understanding of software engineering skills with Java, C#, or other object-oriented languages, focusing on application security best practices.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and knowledge of OWASP Top 10 is desirable.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or PowerShell are highly desirable.
  • Candidates should have an appreciation for account security, app security, threat hunting, and incident response.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
