• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of complex features from concept to deployment.

• The role involves making architectural decisions to maintain the Rails app's performance and scalability, dedicating time to improve stability and developer experience, and maintaining a strong automated test suite.
• You will proactively monitor and resolve production issues while mentoring and supporting other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• The technology stack includes Rails 7.1, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, TimescaleDB, Turbo 8, React, Minitest, and GitHub Actions.

Requirements:

• You must have a proven track record of designing, building, and scaling production Rails applications.
• A strong command of Rails fundamentals, including ActiveRecord and background jobs, is essential.
• Experience in architecting maintainable systems that balance speed of delivery with long-term sustainability is required.
• You should be comfortable working across the stack, including frontend technologies like JavaScript and CSS.
• Familiarity with modern LLM-powered tools to accelerate work and the judgment to know when to rely on your expertise is necessary.
• A strong testing mindset with hands-on experience in Minitest or RSpec is expected.
• You must be confident in debugging and resolving complex production issues.
• The ability to mentor and support other engineers is crucial.
• Clear communication skills to articulate technical challenges, trade-offs, and decisions are required.
