As a Senior Software Engineer on the Runtime team, you will design, build, and optimize core systems that power the company's services.
You will drive the technical strategy for high-performance runtime components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency under heavy workloads.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners, leading critical initiatives, and mentoring fellow engineers to shape the evolution of the runtime platform.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing systems for local air-gapped and customer distributed deployments, driving new features through robust backwards compatible updates, and contributing to the knowledge, architecture, processes, and systems of the engineering organization.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in product-driven backend engineering, with openness to those with extensive experience in embedded systems or platform teams.
Strong proficiency in Go is necessary for this position.
Experience with at least one messaging system such as MQTT, Kafka, or Nats is required.
Candidates should have experience with deployment pipelines, including CI/CD processes, and the ability to manage a custom deployment strategy tailored to the company's unique system architecture and runtime requirements.
