SciLeads is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about software development and data engineering.
The role involves managing large-scale data projects and leading development initiatives.
The Senior Software Engineer will report directly to the VP of Engineering and will drive the technical vision, development, and deployment of the SciLeads platform.
Key responsibilities include ownership of the full software development life cycle, working with cloud-based architecture, managing a database with over one billion records, addressing data challenges, project management, code quality reviews, and maintaining a customer-first approach.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of post-education experience in C# and .NET software development.
Proficiency in handling large-scale datasets using appropriate languages, frameworks, tools, workflows, and patterns is essential.
A proven track record of designing, refining, managing, leading, and delivering at least three complex technical projects from inception to completion is required.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex data challenges and improve data handling processes is necessary.
Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide project updates are required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to prioritize work across multiple concurrent projects.
Experience mentoring intermediate engineers and leading complex technical projects is necessary.
Expertise in scalable system design and architecture is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a fully remote team.
