Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Shakudo is building the world’s first operating system for data and AI, designed for modern data and AI workflows.
• The role is for offshore Senior Software Engineers who will help shape the next era of intelligent systems.
• Responsibilities include developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining the Shakudo data and AI operating system.
• Engineers will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• The position requires effective communication and support across functions to achieve results.
• Team members will help define the team roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs.
• Participation in the on-call rotation for global production systems is required to ensure high availability and performance.
• Engineers will engage in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing across time zones.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience in a tech company.
• Experience in building end-to-end systems with databases, authentication, workflow tools, and modeling tools is required.
• A bias for action and an ownership mentality are essential.
• Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product management is necessary.
• Startup experience at a tech company is preferred.
• Nice to have: Previous experience working with or contributing to open-source tools.
• Nice to have: Experience working at early-stage startups.
• Nice to have: Full-stack experience, including frontend development, is a strong plus.
