Remote Senior Software Engineer

• Socure is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be a key technical leader responsible for driving the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions.
• This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.
• The Engineering team is part of the Technology Center of Excellence organization, emphasizing teamwork, driving outcomes, and contributing to Socure’s mission to eliminate identity fraud.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and debugging components to run on distributed systems at great scale and speed.
• The engineer will own nonfunctional requirements such as scalability, availability, and security, and will work on unit and integration tests to achieve good code and functional coverage.
• The role requires creating enterprise-class documents for internal and external collaboration and breaking down complex tasks into granular tasks for planning and execution.
• The engineer will work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5-7 years of significant coding experience with Golang, preferably in a product development company.
• Strong programming and design fundamentals, problem-solving, and coding skills are required.
• Candidates must possess strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
• A strong desire to learn and grow while building best-in-class systems, along with a good grasp of concurrency and multi-threading, is essential.
• Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs is required.
• Prior experience with high throughput and low latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL(s), Big Data Analytics, ML services, and large-scale systems is a plus.
