We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help build and enhance our 3D Cloud platform.
This is a full-stack role with a primary focus on web technologies and containerized services.
You'll work with our enterprise customers, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other developers while delivering exceptional user experiences.
This position is open to remote applicants.
Responsibilities include on-call rotation and incident response, developing, architecting, documenting, and modifying projects in various programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, and SQL for our clients using our 3D Cloud platform.
You will integrate with our internal teams to implement new services for our 3D Cloud platform and collaborate directly with our enterprise customers to deliver fully functional B2B solutions with great user experiences.
Staying current on development technologies and making best practice recommendations for coding standards and solution choices, particularly focusing on security and data privacy, is essential.
You will also improve code quality through automation and performing code reviews, as well as debug and resolve complex technical issues across the full application stack.
Requirements:
A BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, including front-end frameworks and back-end services (e.g., Angular, React, Spring Boot, Hibernate) is necessary.
At least 3 years of experience in cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required.
Strong coding skills in Java, Python, TypeScript, and SQL are essential.
The ability to work on multi-disciplinary engineering teams and pick up new technology quickly is important.
Experience with observability tools and a track record of improving system reliability is preferred.
Knowledge of software engineering standard practices and architecture, especially API development and enterprise integration patterns, is required.
Preferred qualifications include GCP experience, understanding of containerization technologies, experience with front-end web application development, experience working in the Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution technology sectors, and a background in 3D graphics.
