PeopleFun is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop new casual mobile titles from prototyping to production.
The role involves collaborating closely within a cross-functional team to move titles through early-stage prototyping and into full production and release.
Responsibilities include developing rapid prototypes from game pitches, collaborating with artists, designers, and other engineers, implementing core gameplay systems, and responding to player feedback.
The engineer will contribute to technical decision-making, transition projects from pre-production to full production, optimize for performance and memory usage, and work within an agile development environment.
Candidates must reside or be willing to reside in specific states including California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, and Washington State.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional engineering experience within the gaming industry.
A demonstrated proficiency with Unity and casual mobile game development is required.
A solid understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and best practices for mobile platforms is necessary.
Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally and effectively communicating with various stakeholders is essential.
Candidates should have a proven ability to navigate complex technical challenges and possess strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PeopleFun offers a competitive total compensation package with a pay-for-performance rewards approach.
The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000–$165,000, with compensation based on market location and individual qualifications.
Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other incentives.
