We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – OpenCTI to join our Engineering team and contribute to the development of a significant open-source platform in cyber threat intelligence.
The role involves owning and developing end-to-end features for the OpenCTI platform, from conception to production.
You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, user-focused experiences.
The position includes scaling the team and technical processes, mentoring junior developers, and improving internal tooling.
You will contribute to the evolution of the OpenCTI tech stack, which includes React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Kubernetes.
Writing clean, well-documented code and participating in code reviews are essential responsibilities.
Engaging with the open-source community, responding to feedback, and contributing to the broader ecosystem is expected.
You will work closely with Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers to make architectural and product decisions.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 7–8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on fullstack development.
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js (or similar technologies) is required.
Experience in building scalable, secure, and performant applications is necessary.
A deep understanding of modern API design (REST/GraphQL), frontend architecture, and backend services is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment.
A product-oriented mindset is important, with a focus on UX, performance, and user impact.
Strong communication and ownership skills are required.
Bonus points for experience with open-source contributions, cybersecurity tools, or GraphQL Relay.
