  • Wherobots is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect to join their team in building the Spatial Intelligence Cloud, a data and AI platform for the physical world.
  • The role is crucial for providing technical expertise and support to clients during both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Responsibilities include understanding customer technical needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation and support.
  • Pre-sales responsibilities involve partnering with sales and marketing teams, conducting technical discovery sessions, designing architecture diagrams, delivering product demonstrations, and creating reusable field enablement assets.
  • Post-sales responsibilities include leading onboarding sessions, collaborating with customer teams to design data pipelines, supporting best practices for geospatial data management, troubleshooting technical issues, and collecting customer feedback.
  • The role also includes developing technical collateral, maintaining a library of use cases, authoring technical content, contributing to documentation, representing Wherobots at events, and engaging in online communities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales and post-sales technical support role is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools is essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing are necessary.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities are required.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to client satisfaction is essential.
  • The candidate should foster a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.
  • Experience or familiarity with spatial data and spatial data analysis is preferred.
