Wherobots is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect to join their team in building the Spatial Intelligence Cloud, a data and AI platform for the physical world.
The role is crucial for providing technical expertise and support to clients during both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
Responsibilities include understanding customer technical needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation and support.
Pre-sales responsibilities involve partnering with sales and marketing teams, conducting technical discovery sessions, designing architecture diagrams, delivering product demonstrations, and creating reusable field enablement assets.
Post-sales responsibilities include leading onboarding sessions, collaborating with customer teams to design data pipelines, supporting best practices for geospatial data management, troubleshooting technical issues, and collecting customer feedback.
The role also includes developing technical collateral, maintaining a library of use cases, authoring technical content, contributing to documentation, representing Wherobots at events, and engaging in online communities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales and post-sales technical support role is necessary.
A strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools is essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing are necessary.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities are required.
A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to client satisfaction is essential.
The candidate should foster a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.
Experience or familiarity with spatial data and spatial data analysis is preferred.
