Remote Senior Solutions Architect

Description:

• The Senior Solution Architect has a proven track record of delivering advanced B2B solutions on SAP Commerce Cloud, commercetools, or similar enterprise commerce platforms.
• Candidates should have experience working directly with clients during pre-sales scoping, post-sales discovery, design, and delivery.
• Responsibilities include defining and maintaining commerce platform system architecture, including product model, module selection, integrations architecture, and tailoring client-specific needs to fit project requirements.
• The role involves collaborating with client technical teams and the Zaelab development team to address integration or platform challenges.
• The architect will lead efforts to identify technical debt and refactoring needs in existing legacy installations.
• They will define proposed solution architecture concepts during pre-sales project planning, advising clients on technology choices, platform selection, and integration solutions.
• Close collaboration with the Project Manager and delivery team is essential to identify project technical risks, determine potential solutions, and mitigate those risks.
• Effective communication with clients and the delivery team regarding architectural design solutions, technical constraints, proposed architecture, and development execution roadmap is required.

• Candidates should have five years of experience in Java, JEE, Spring, and other enterprise-related technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience working on large-distributed teams utilizing Git, SVN, Jenkins, Jira, etc., is required.
• Expertise in utilizing SAP Hybris B2B and B2C accelerators is necessary.
• Exposure to the latest technologies for modern web development, including Node.JS, is preferred.
• Comfort with agile, iterative software development methodologies is required.
• Candidates should be comfortable researching and adopting new web technologies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience with other digital commerce platforms, third-party site search, and content management systems is a plus.
