The Senior Solutions Engineer will lead strategic integrations and automations across client environments within the Nielsen Marketing Cloud (NMC), developing and maintaining advanced solutions.
This role involves designing and enhancing architecture for high-impact integrations, establishing best practices, and providing optimization recommendations to clients and ecosystem partners.
The engineer will collaborate with engineering teams to define, implement, and test new platform features, while conducting pre-release quality assurance.
Close collaboration with product and client servicing teams is required to perform in-depth platform diagnostics, proactively addressing issues and elevating customer satisfaction.
The position requires managing multiple projects (3-5) concurrently, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
Responsibilities include conducting revenue impact assessments, advising on setup optimization, and developing comprehensive documentation and technical workshops on advanced NMC functionalities.
The engineer will mentor junior engineers, champion best practices, and handle operational escalations, implementing structured resolution processes to efficiently resolve high-impact issues.
Tools utilized in this role include SQL, API, Python, JavaScript, Bach, R Studio, Tableau, Google Analytics, MongoDB, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Postman, and Gitlab.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant information technology-based field such as Information Science or Electronics Engineering is required.
Candidates must have five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in software development.
Must have five (5) years of experience with Python, SQL, Queries, Shell scripting, and regular expression pattern matching.
Experience in the internal product landscape, domain trends in ad technology and mar-tech, digital publisher, or digital agency environment is necessary.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix Servers, AWS or GCP, as a means of developing information technology solutions is required.
Familiarity with tools such as Superset, Kibana, JIRA, Confluence, Raindrop, GIT/Github, AWS CLI, REST, Microsoft Azure, Postman, and Gitlab is essential.
The position allows for remote work from any location in the U.S. or from any Nielsen Company office in the U.S.
The salary range for this position is $152,859-$245,000/year, with a standard work schedule of M-F, 40 hours a week.
