Chromatic is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team and contribute to the success of high-priority customers and the company's growth.
The Solutions Engineer will act as the primary technical contact for Enterprise accounts, assisting them in integrating and maximizing the value of Chromatic and Storybook.
Responsibilities include supporting customers through onboarding, training, and ongoing education to ensure long-term success.
The role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues and designing tailored solutions for each customer's needs.
This position is fully remote, with candidates required to be located in EMEA or the Eastern Time Zone within the US or Canada.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted technical advisor, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing technical integrations, helping customers scale Storybook usage, partnering with Customer Success Managers and Sales, improving internal workflows, acting as the voice of the customer, and coordinating cross-departmental efforts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer, preferably in a B2B SaaS or developer tools company.
A strong background in the frontend space and familiarity with modern JavaScript tools and frameworks, such as Webpack and React, is required; experience with Storybook and/or Chromatic is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the ability to build genuine relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should be highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple projects across different accounts; self-motivation and strong time management skills are important.
Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities may shift quickly is required.

The salary range for this position is US $123,000 - $174,000, along with equity.
