The Senior Solutions Engineer, Strategic Accounts - West Region position is based in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, or Washington.
This role involves partnering with strategic accounts to guide them through discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements using an analytics platform.
The engineer will collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams while acting as a trusted technical advisor for innovative digital brands.
Responsibilities include serving as a strategic technical advisor, leading technical discovery conversations, and designing custom solutions.
The role requires building and presenting demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept to articulate technical and business value.
Daily collaboration with account executives, customer success managers, product managers, and engineers is essential for a seamless sales and onboarding experience.
The engineer will guide customers through trial and onboarding periods to ensure meaningful engagement and long-term success.
Capturing and communicating product feedback to influence the product roadmap is a key accountability.
The position also involves mentoring and contributing to onboarding and training within the Solutions Engineering team.
Occasional travel to client locations for demos, workshops, or strategic presentations is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in software pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a related technical consulting role.
Strong domain expertise in digital analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, experimentation platforms, or cloud infrastructure is required.
Hands-on proficiency with data tools like SQL and BI platforms is necessary, along with the ability to explain complex solutions to diverse audiences.
Exceptional communication skills are essential, with confidence in presenting to C-level, technical, and business audiences.
Proven ability to build trust with strategic customers and influence decision-making through consultative selling is required.
Experience in navigating cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments and managing multiple high-stakes accounts simultaneously is necessary.
Candidates must be located in the Pacific or Mountain time zone (PST or MST) to best support strategic accounts in the West Region.
