The Solutions Engineer role is part of the Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization, which owns the technical sales of the Cloudflare solution portfolio.
The position involves partnering with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical presentations and demos, running proof of concept trials, and identifying customer initiatives and business problems to map to Cloudflare solutions.
The role requires building relationships and technical champions within customer accounts and representing Cloudflare at various events.
Requirements:
Candidates must have previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or in another customer-facing technical role with CDN, Security, Networking, or SaaS.
Solid communication, written, and presentation skills are essential.
The ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently is required.
Candidates should be highly driven, curious, team players, and work with a sense of urgency.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience is necessary.
Desirable skills include a fundamental understanding of customer network and application architectures, knowledge of application and network security, and experience with SaaS application environments.
