  • Twilio is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for its ISV Communications team to help customers build the future of communications.
  • This role is essential for delivering technical wins and ensuring the best product fit for customers.
  • The Senior Solutions Engineer will lead the technical pre-sales relationship, drive technical discovery, propose architectures, demonstrate products, and address customer concerns with creative solutions.
  • The position requires engaging with mid-level managers and customer software engineers, and the ability to run low to mid-complexity opportunities independently.
  • Responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives for pre-sales activities, leading technical sales, establishing trust with customers, presenting product demonstrations, solving problems, and contributing to the Solutions Engineering community.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products or 6 years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to gain audience confidence.
  • Ability to tell engaging stories and communicate complex topics to various audience levels.
  • Deep understanding of customer communications needs to guide them to technical solutions.
  • Previous software development experience or knowledge in backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) and web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks).
  • Experience building with REST APIs.
  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud application architecture is desired, along with experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security.
