Remote Senior SQL Developer

Description:

• Miratech is seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer with over 7 years of experience to join their dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in creating SSIS packages, complex stored procedures, functions, and views, as well as deep knowledge of SQL Management Studio.
• Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex SQL databases, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• The role involves designing and implementing SSIS packages for data integration and transformation, and developing SSRS reports for data analysis and visualization.
• The candidate will utilize SQL Management Studio for development and management tasks and perform data bulk import/export operations efficiently.
• The position requires optimizing database queries for performance improvements and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• The developer will use GitHub for version control and code management, and collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and develop database solutions accordingly.
• Conducting reverse engineering to analyze and document existing systems and databases is also part of the job.
• The candidate will work in coordination with the development team to integrate database solutions with applications.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience as an SQL Developer.
• A strong knowledge of ETL processes is required.
• Proven experience in creating SSIS packages and developing complex stored procedures, functions, and views is essential.
• Proficiency in SQL Management Studio is necessary.
• A strong understanding of data bulk import/export methods is required.
• Excellent skills in query optimization and performance tuning are needed.
• Experience with GitHub for code management is mandatory.
• Solid business analysis skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications are required.
• Strong reverse engineering skills are necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Experience in designing and implementing SSRS reports is a nice to have.
